The preschoolers have been outside observing Spring changes to the environment. Thanks to Cyrus Henry and his family the preschoolers were able to see a “butterfly release” this week. Cyrus and his family hatched four “painted lady” butterflies. We were able to capture this experience on our classroom video camera and hopefully it will be on our website. In observance of Earth Day, the preschoolers will have another opportunity to participate in the Outback Eco Camp with Master “Leave No Trace” Educator, Stephanie Avery. The preschoolers have also been looking at habitat and Earth Day information in their April classroom newspapers. Thank you for your participation, |
